Ode to the Northeast Ohioans Seasonal Fortitude

Once the sun had gone and the stars came out to play,

it only took a moment as the night then passed to day.

The roses are in slumber and the tulips haven’t been,

Since the spring of just remember before the summer of back when.

The Autumn Joy Sedum tucked their weary heads to rest,

in the fall of last November, eluding winters roaring test.

Yesterday marauded around pretending to be spring,

leaving merry hearts despondent of what today would truly bring.

Though, this is Northeast Ohio, in 10 minutes it may change &

considering location that leaves us quite a range.

Once the sun has gone again if the stars come out to play,

we may just get our hearts desire…….or…..

We shall wait another day!
